XPEL Window Film for Tesla

We are offering XPEL PRIME XR PLUS, PRIME XR, and PRIME CS. The XPEL PRIME Window Film lineup is recommended by TESLA for its outstanding performance and value. 

Windshield tinting is not available through the Tesla program. However, your XPEL Certified Dealer can assist you with windshield film and other services for an additional cost when you schedule your appointment. 

The price includes any shade of film available. You can choose the shade at the time of installation. Your XPEL Installer will be happy to help you choose a shade that works best for your needs. They can also advise you of local/state regulations regarding the use of your vehicle.

XPEL’s window film helps with Ultraviolet (UV) ray protection and Infrared (IR) heat protection, along with many other features that can be found here.

Loaner cars are not provided; however, most participating XPEL Dealers will help facilitate ground transportation such as UBER, Lyft, or Taxi services. Additional charges may apply.

XPEL offers a lifetime warranty for defects. In addition to the XPEL warranty, Tesla will also cover the film replacement if the glass requires replacement due to glass defect or breakage during the new vehicle warranty period.

The rear glass of Model 3 and Model X is much larger which will consume additional time and material.

If you have a leased car, you can still apply the clear film which will help with heat rejection. If a shade is selected that makes the visible light transmission darker than state requirements there may be a removal fee charged when the vehicle is returned to Tesla.

The entire process typically takes between 1-2 business days. Speak with your service provider before your appointment if same-day service is desired as most shops can accommodate customers with advanced scheduling.
